Dear Recipient:

On behalf of the University of Baltimore Law Forum, it would be our honor to consider your scholarly contributions for publication in our premier law journal. Founded in 1970, Law Forum is the oldest journal at the University of Baltimore School of Law, concentrating on developing trends and topics unique to the Maryland legal community. With over 300 print subscribers and over 36,000 electronic views, Law Forum maintains a direct connection with Maryland practitioners, legislators, judges, and the legal community at large.

We are currently seeking submissions for publication in Volume 56, Issues 1 and 2. Issue 1, publishing in Fall 2025, will primarily focus on our Symposium topic, Maryland’s Voir Dire Pilot Program. Both Issues will focus on prevalent matters in Maryland such as:

  • Artificial Intelligence and Technology in Maryland,
  • the Deportation of Kilmar Abrego Garcia,
  • the Maryland Piedmont Reliability Project,
  • the Maryland All-Payer Model and the AHEAD Program, and
  • Maryland’s Housing Crisis.

However, we are open to publishing a variety of topics. Please do not hesitate to submit other ideas. For now, Issue 2, set to be published in the Spring, will accept submissions on any topic. If you are interested in submitting an abstract, article, or essay related to these topics, please review the attached abstract submission guidelines below. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to email us at ublawforum@ubalt.edu for further information.

We look forward to the possibility of featuring your work in our upcoming issues of the University of Baltimore Law Forum and believe your contribution would significantly benefit both our publication and the broader Maryland legal community. We encourage you to consider submitting your work for publication and appreciate your ongoing commitment to legal scholarship.

Sincerely,

Chloe Curtis
